Using the text from Zadie Smith’s short story Lazy River, I designed a series from three booklets that folded out into a triptych of posters. Leveraging the different relationships between the ‘self’ and the ‘other’ throughout the story, I setup an image relationship that evolved throughout the booklets to represent different tensions between those two aspects of Smith's writing.
