Throughout my time in Florence, I have been interested in the layers of time this city contains, a palimpsest of historical records and visuals cues to time passed. I found broken frescos to be the marker for these layers. I tell the story of this evolution and the visual interpretations of these themes throughout these posters and spreads, interrogating the relationship between me, the city, this layered history, and our collective permanence of the foreign.
